Why should I use a password manager?
A password manager is a secure Vault that stores your passwords to:
- Solve the problem of reused passwords, which is the main source of data security issues.
- Maximize password strength with randomness. The more randomness, the harder it is to crack.
- Stop a breach on one site from affecting others. Unique passwords guarantee that if one site is compromised, the rest are safe.
- In case of a password leak, you can easily identify the source, as the password will be unique to that service, and change it.
- Remove the burden of remembering them. You don’t need to remember the passwords as the manager stores and autofills them for you.
