Two Factor Authentication Service, Inc. (“2FAS,” “we,” or “us”) provides 2FAS Auth, a mobile application and browser extension that enables users to generate TOTP and HOTP tokens for two-factor authentication. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information in connection with 2FAS Auth.
We may process anonymous technical information for diagnostic purposes, such as: crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics (you may disable this in your device settings); troubleshooting logs when you voluntarily send them to help us resolve issues (including app version, device information, and trace logs); extension installation data (e.g., operating system, browser type and version). This information is used solely to maintain and improve the functionality of the app and extension. It is not linked to any individual user.
All authentication data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. We do not collect: your authentication tokens or secrets; your email address or contact information (unless you contact us directly); usage analytics, tracking IDs, tracking tools, or advertising data;
If you enable crash reporting or push notifications, technical data may be transmitted to third-party infrastructure providers such as Firebase. These providers process data only as necessary to deliver their services to us. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone.
We do not maintain user accounts or databases for 2FAS Auth. If you contact us and provide personal information (e.g., via email), you may request deletion of that data at any time by contacting [email protected].
We may update this Privacy Policy. If we do, we will post the updated version on our website or within the app. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
