2FAS allows users to preview the upcoming 2FA code before the current one expires. As your current 2FA code nears expiration, waiting for a new code can be frustrating, especially in a hurry. 2FAS Auth addresses this by enabling a peek at the next code with 5 seconds remaining on the current code’s timer. This feature allows you to copy and be ready to immediately paste the new code into your account, eliminating the wait.
To activate this feature, navigate to ‘Settings’, select ‘Appearance’, and then enable ‘Show Next Token’.
You’ll notice that as the current code’s timer approaches its end, the next code will be displayed below, ready for copying and use. This minor adjustment significantly enhances your 2FA experience, merging security with efficiency. While the new code only becomes active after the last 5 seconds of the current code, you gain time by pre-copying and preparing to insert the new token wherever needed.
